Let’s face it. Schools often don’t teach the basics of personal finance. Many parents struggle to guide their kids, too. This is something our high school and college-aged kids need. That’s why I offer specific workshops and seminars on financial literacy specifically for teens and young adults.
The Pythagorean Theorem may be useful for people in engineering jobs. But it doesn’t help us manage our money well. And solving for X may help us hobble through that algebra class. But it doesn’t show us how to solve our daily financial problems.
This is where a financial literacy program for teens and young adults fills the gap. With my program, your high school and college students become better equipped to make good financial decisions before being on their own. This will save them years of difficulty and a great deal of money.
Components of Financial Literacy Programs for Teens & Young Adults
These workshops are custom-built for your teens and young adults. There are standard topics I talk about during these interactive sessions. But I integrate the things your teens and young adults want to learn about in a way that they can understand.
There is a lot of complexity in the financial world. But even if you as a parent understand and can explain it, oftentimes it’s hard for teens to listen to their parents about money. And young adults can be even harder to reach on the topic.
This financial literacy program for teens and young adults encompasses my coordinating an interactive dialogue on critical topics. I have been coaching since 2018 and am highly trained in the art of communication. As a result, I am able to present these topics in a way that teens and young adults can easily understand.
The sessions are fun, and dynamic, and include discussion of the following types of topics:
- Savings
- Insurance
- Budgeting
- Homeownership
- Long-term investing
- Managing and paying off debt
- Dispelling social media myths about personal finance
- Paying for college with reduced or no student loan debt
- And so much more!
How Does the Program Work?

I keep this process fairly simple.
- First, reach out to me using the booking form below. I will call you and discuss what you are looking for from the financial literacy program for teens and young adults. i.e., Topics and number of sessions. We will also talk about the venue and if you want the program to be virtual or in-person. I will provide a price quote at the end of our conversation.
- I will send an invoice for the program and work on the presentation. Upon payment of the invoice, I will start working on the presentation for our session(s). The layout will be engaging and the content on the screen will be simple and easy to follow. To keep the participants engaged, I frequently insert memes and other humor into the presentation for a fun flare.
- I will send you, the parent/guardian/coordinator, a draft of the presentations for review. You can provide feedback and make suggestions for the appearance and substance of the program.
- Finally, we will book the day(s) and time(s) for our session(s). After approving the presentation, I will send you my booking link to lock in our program date(s). We’ll have a great time empowering these teens and young adults to make good financial decisions.
